If you’re a Disney fan, then you know the parks are some of your favorite places to be. There’s something for everyone at each park, and it can often feel like there isn’t enough time in the day to experience everything that they have to offer. The question is: What is your favorite Disney Park? We’ve compiled a list of the best attractions from all four parks around the world so you can vote on which one takes first place!
1. Disneyland Park, California:
The original Disney park and still one of the best. You can experience all your favorite classics like Pirates of the Caribbean or Space Mountain.

Created on April 12, 1955, by Walt Disney himself, Disneyland Park, California is the original and oldest Disneyland in America. It has been open for more than 66 years. The park features eight themed “lands”: Main Street, USA; Adventureland; Fantasyland; Frontierland; Critter Country; New Orleans Square; Mickey’s Toontown; and Tomorrowland.
The attractions at Disneyland Park, California are sponsored by several large companies including General Electric (whose light bulbs were a staple of the park starting in its opening year), United Technologies, Kodak, Nestlé, and Panasonic, among others. On average 66 million people visit the park annually. Disneyland Park, California is located in Anaheim, California, and operated by the Walt Disney Company. The park has been designated a National Historic Landmark as well as a California Historical Landmark.
2. Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida:
This resort is a large complex with four theme parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios & Animal Kingdom), two water parks (Typhoon Lagoon & Blizzard Beach), and two golf courses. Hollywood Studios is great for people who love movies, with attractions like The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror or Star Tours: The Adventures Continue!

Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida is the most visited vacation resort in the world. Walt Disney World covers 30,080 acres of land located within four adjoining counties: Orange, Osceola, Lake, and Seminole.
The original theme park was opened on October 1, 1971. Many resorts and additional parks were added over the years. In fact, guests can now choose from more than 50 different theme parks and attractions when visiting Walt Disney World Resort.
Additional parks include two water parks: River Country and Typhoon Lagoon, as well as the Downtown Disney complex that consists of restaurants and shops. There are also three resort hotels at the Downtown Disney site. Other hotels on the property are the Disney All-Star Resorts, the Coronado Springs Resort, and the Saratoga Springs Resort.
But Walt Disney World is more than just a theme park. Guests can choose from a variety of restaurants and food outlets to fill up their appetites. Food lovers also have their choice of international cuisine at Walt Disney World Resort.
3. Tokyo Disney Resort in Urayasu City, Japan:
This resort includes three theme parks that are known as Tokyo Disneyland, Tokyo DisneySea, and Disney’s Hotel MiraCosta. If you’re going to Tokyo primarily for the parks, this is a great choice!

Tokyo Disneyland opened on April 15, 1983. OLC spent US$1 billion building the park and contracted with The Walt Disney Company to manage it for a 30-year period. Covering 172 acres (70 hectares), Tokyo Disneyland is similar in size and appearance to the original Disneyland in California. However, it has less than half the number of attractions. In fact, Tokyo Disneyland contains no roller coasters but does include a teacup ride and other small-scale rides, such as the Dumbo Flying Elephant Ride and the Alice’s Curious Labyrinth attraction.
Tokyo DisneySea opened in 2001. Set along a shoreline on 150 acres (60 hectares) at the mouth of Tokyo Bay in an area known as the Kanto Plain, it is slightly larger than Disney’s other parks in Florida and California. OLC spent US$1.2 billion to build this park, which features a lagoon that stretches from the front gate perpendicular to the mainland for 1 1/3 miles (2.2 kilometers). The lagoon is dotted with small islands, most of which can be reached by ferry. At night the park’s two central landmarks are illuminated: Tower of Terror and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. In total, Tokyo DisneySea contains 37 rides, including a submarine ride and several roller coasters.
4. Hong Kong Disneyland Resort in Lantau Island:
This resort has two theme parks which are called Hong Kong Disneyland Park and Disneytown. It also includes many hotels that act as an extension of the parks!

Hong Kong Disneyland Resort is located in Lantau Island, Hong Kong. It is owned by the Hong Kong International Theme Parks Limited (HKITP), a joint venture between The Walt Disney Company and the Government of Hong Kong. HKITP has been given a 50-year lease to run the park until 2036 when it will revert to the government.
Hong Kong Disneyland Resort consists of Hong Kong Disneyland and the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel at Penny’s Bay, Lantau Island. Currently under construction is the third hotel on reclaimed land in front of the two existing hotels, the new Art Deco style Disneyland Hotel will have more rooms due to be completed in 2011 with a further 924 guest rooms. This will bring the total number of rooms to 3,800 and provide Hong Kong Disneyland Resort with more accommodation to meet demand until 2034 when a new 4th hotel is scheduled to open at the resort.
Hong Kong Disneyland was built on reclaimed land in Penny’s Bay situated next to Ocean Park at Wong Chuk Hang, Aberdeen with the park taking up and the hotel, which will be built on a man-made island taking up. The park is the smallest of all Disneyland parks. It has one theme park divided into 10 themed areas with seven hotels.
