Explore the city by bike with a rental from CitiBike, New York City’s premier provider of public bikes and docking stations. Start in Central Park at Strawberry Fields near 72nd Street and Fifth Avenue or on the Hudson River Greenway next to Pier I The Boat Basin.

Take a ride across the Brooklyn Bridge and cross it from Manhattan to Dumbo, or if you want more of an adventure take one of many trails that lead through Central Park. Visit places like the Dakota Building where John Lennon lived at 72nd Street and Central Park West, Strawberry Fields between 74th & 75th Streets on Central Park West, Strawberry Field at 90th Street and Riverside Drive in the Riverdale section of the Bronx, or Strawberry Fields on Menahan Street between Grove and Moore Streets.

After you cross back over to Manhattan take a ride along Fifth Avenue up to Washington Square Park where you can stop for lunch near NYU’s campus before finishing your journey by riding down Broadway. You can stop at Washington Square Park on Fifth Avenue between 12th and 14th Streets.

Or, if you’re feeling more adventurous ride through Chinatown where you’ll find plenty of food options for lunch near Canal Street or Mott Street. Continue your journey down Lafayette street to SoHo until you reach the famous intersection with Broadway. Stop in for a bite to eat at Colson Patisserie & Bistro, Dominique Ansel Bakery where they invented the Cronut or Momofuku Milk Bar on Broadway between East 13th and 12th Streets.

For dinner try out some of New York City’s best Italian restaurants in Little Italy near Mulberry Street – Or take a stroll through the scenic SoHo neighborhood, or take another ride on CitiBike to explore more of New York City.

Check out the Statue of Liberty: This landmark holds so much history within it’s structure that visiting this attraction with your BFF will be an amazing experience. She has seen it plenty of times but she never really understands exactly how important Lady Liberty is to the United States.

Watch a Mets Game: Sports can bring people together so taking your best friend to watch the New York Mets play will be an awesome experience. Even if she’s not into sports, watching them win against their biggest rivals is always fun! You’ll want to make sure you have seats in just the right section though so that you both can experience the best of watching a game.

Paris, France

Attend a comedy show in Paris, Take an afternoon to explore the Louvre Museum, and find some of your favorite pieces of art. If you’re feeling adventurous, ask a local about their opinions on the different works. Head out for dinner at one of Paris’ must-visit restaurants. Make sure that each of you tries different dishes. – Buy tickets for a movie and catch up on the latest releases in Paris, France together! If one of you has seen it before, talk about what aspects stood out to them. Make sure that each of your sits next to each other so neither gets distracted by their phone!

Visit the Eiffel Tower, it is one of Paris’ most well-known attractions and a great place to snap some fantastic photos. The best time to visit is at night when they turn on all the lights in an incredibly dramatic fashion. 

Take your BFF out for brunch somewhere beautiful like Cafe de la Paix or Le Grand Vefour.

Go to the top of Montmartre, a village on top of a hill overlooking Paris. There are many cute shops and restaurants here that you can visit with your best friend. 

Visit Musee d’Orsay which is home to some great paintings including works by Monet, Manet, and Degas.

Go to the top of Arc de Triomphe for an incredible view over Paris. There are also some great restaurants near here like Le Jules Verne which is a really expensive but delicious restaurant that you can visit with your best friend!
